| How to Verify paternity I did a DNA test along with my son when he was born to prove that he is my child. The results came back 99% that I am his father. My wife and I are now splitting up and she claims that I am not his father. Can the results be wrong? I am now fighting for custody over my child and would like to prove that he is mine. Do I need to take another paternity test and if I do, would the results actually be different? |
Anonymous CommenterThe possibility if you not being his father and the results being different are almost impossible. However in this case you should probably do a Legal DNA Paternity test. This test is admissible in court. It would require a third party to ensure that all the collections were made form the same source. The rates are a few hundred dollars in most cases. There are different collection facilities located all around the country where you can go for doing the test and getting the peace of mind you are looking for in this issue.
