| Because of divorce my son is in a custody battle for his 2 sons. Soon after my son was married his first child was born. My son?s last name is also the child?s. The Childs birth certificate borne my sons name. at the hospital my son has also signed a paper stating that no DNA test would be taken and claims that he is the father of the child. During the battle my son was informed that he is not the Childs real father and the Childs real father is fighting for his custody. I doubt that my son is the real father. He has never interfered in the father-son relation but still claims he is the father no matter what has been in 6 years. A DNA test has to be carried out as ordered by the judge yesterday. And if the test claims that my son is not the father of the child he has no parental rights. Can this be true? |
Anonymous CommenterIn many cases only the rights of the biological father will be supported if the relationship can be proven. Only the biological father has the rights to adopt or take full custody of the child. The laws and statutes differ from state to state.
